New label helps Seoul Milk assure freshness

Seoul Milk's decision to post the production date on its milk cartons has resulted in higher sales for the dairy producer, from 8 million a day to more than 9 million. South Korean food-safety laws require manufacturers to list either the production date or expiration date. Seoul Milk's decision to post both dates is also spurring the company to reduce the time between milk production and shipping.
