Lockheed to build 2 Air Force communications satellites

The Pentagon has awarded Lockheed Martin a $1.9 billion contract to build two new satellites for the Air Force. The new communications satellites will be the fifth and sixth that are part of the Air Force's Advanced Extremely High Frequency satellite program. Some of those satellites would allow communications between the military and the U.S. president in the event of nuclear war.
