Tae kwon do class seeks to improve students' confidence, health

Mike Tibbits, 37, who has an intellectual disability, is working on earning his orange belt in tae kwon do at a studio in Cobourg, Ontario. The classes aim to improve the health, self-confidence and self-defense skills of individuals with disabilities, says Jonathan Field, owner of Cobourg Tae Kwon Do. "They've overcome anything they couldn't do before. They've surpassed what I thought they could do," instructor Jeff Morrow said.
