Top 10: Pinnacle puts out new products, Amazon makes changes at Whole Foods

Pinnacle Foods’ plan to roll out a roster of new products including Duncan Hines cake and frosting varieties and plant-based Gardein brand Skillet Meals proved most popular with food and beverage readers this week. The packaged food conglomerate has also created new products under its Vlasic and Wish-Bone brands.

Other CPG stories that proved popular this week included Unilever’s entry into the organic snack market in the US with its Growing Roots brand and the naming of a new CEO at TreeHouse Foods.

Retail stories also resonated with readers, including the changes at Whole Foods Market since Amazon bought the chain six months ago, Kohl’s plan to lease space at several stores to German discount supermarket chain ALDI and Walmart’s launch of new ready-to-eat meals.
