Verizon is joining forces with Duke University on Verizon Connected Healthcare Solutions, a collaborative effort to bring next-generation IT solutions into the medical field. The joint venture -- which is the product of two years of discussions -- will help identify new technologies, assess services and offer a path for Duke students to join Verizon development teams.
