The world's largest food company will work with the American Diabetes Association to promote some of its reduced-carb items. Nestle's Carb Select candy bar has less sugar and fewer calories than the original product; Hershey Foods and Kraft Foods also have been marketing some of their products to diabetics. Some anti-obesity advocates are wary of higher saturated fat and sodium content in low-carb products, but Nestle said the products should be eaten in moderation and as part of a healthy diet.
