The manager of the Super H grocery store in Skiatook, Okla., said a
Wal-Mart employee "wearing a blue smock and name tag," entered his
store with a hand-held scanner and began scanning bar codes.
Super H confiscated the scanner and turned it over to police. A
Wal-Mart statement about the incident said "It is not uncommon for
retailers, including Wal-Mart, to [check] prices of comparable items at
other retailers in town."
