Gillette Co. yesterday unveiled Fusion, a new five-blade razor in regular and battery-powered versions designed to keep the firm at the forefront of the shaving products market it already dominates. "Fusion will become our flagship brand," said James M. Kilts, Gillette's chairman and chief executive. Peter K. Hoffman, president of the company's blades and razors unit, said the product -- to be introduced in the first quarter of 2006 -- will be supported by a "blockbuster marketing program, absolutely huge, the biggest launch of a Gillette shaving system in history."
