Indigo Wild, an unconventional, natural soap maker that sells its products in stores including Whole Foods and Wild Oats, has earned double-digit annual growth in the past few years. Industrywide, sales of natural body care products grew 16.6% to $679 million last year, according to market research and consulting company SPINS.
Whole Foods Market will sell live lobsters in its store in Portland, Maine. It contracted with Little Bay Lobster Co., which it says meets its standards for humane treatment in the catching and shipment of the animals.
