Monster.com has hired Joan Blackwood to fill the long-vacant chief marketing officer position. Blackwood used to work for CA (formerly Computer Associates), Bank of America and the Royal Bank of Canada. Monster spent $155 million last year on domestic ads.
Cadbury-Schweppes' new Sunkist soda campaign will feature the popular hip-hop group Gym Class Heroes covering the Beach Boys classic "Good Vibrations." Cadbury last used "Good Vibrations" as a theme song for its Sunkist marketing more than 20 years ago.
