It started out as an Asheville, N.C., tourism marketing gimmick, but now the grass-roots effort to get Congress to adopt a shorter work week so people can have more leisure time is picking up steam. "Maybe our message is crazy," said Roy McCrerey, campaign director for a group called Friends of the Five Day Weekend. "But I say our current situation is crazy. We need to fight crazy with crazy."
