Smoking cigarettes may impact blood pressure rates in women, a new study finds. Researchers found that women who smoked two packs a day increased their chances of having high blood pressure by 21%, compared to an 11% risk in women who smoked 15 cigarettes a day. Those who smoked less than 15 cigarettes each day increased their risk for high blood pressure by 4%, according to the study.
