Analysts at an investment-banking research firm say they believe Cisco Systems may have its eye on a company that makes femtocells that has reportedly won a $500 million contract to deliver wireless cellular-access-point technology. A bulletin from ThinkPanmure said the company, ip.access, might arouse Cisco's interest much the way the company expanded its wireless portfolio with its purchases of Linksys, Scientific-Atlanta and Navini.
