Florida officials say they are asking the federal government to provide aid to flood victims in Central Florida. State lawmakers have asked President Barack Obama to sign a declaration of individual assistance, which will allow residents to ask the Federal Emergency Management Agency for aid. Officials say they believe that few area residents had flood insurance.
A researcher at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is urging the Food and Drug Administration to put warning labels on energy drinks. He said the agency should cap the caffeine amounts, and the labels should indicate the amount of caffeine in the drinks.
