Construction will start soon on a transit village-style, mixed-use development in New Jersey's Bergen County. The 70-acre project, which has received first-phase approval, will cost $500 million, and its initial phase will include 400 apartments in four buildings along with some commercial space. Future phases will increase the number of residential units to 788 and the retail/commercial square footage to more than 130,000.
