In the latest research suggesting health risks related to bisphenol A, a study published this week found that adults with the highest BPA levels in their urine were more than twice as likely to have heart disease or diabetes than those with the lowest levels. However, the FDA argues that the studies it relied on for its assessment that BPA is safe are more thorough than some of the human research that has raised doubts.
