CenturyTel, which last July said it was "leaning toward" deploying Long-Term Evolution-based 4G service, has jumped on the bandwagon, saying Thursday that it wants to introduce LTE in 2010. The telecom, which bought 700-MHz licenses last year, said it saw the next-generation standard as a way to provide mobile broadband services in its largely rural-based region and elsewhere.
