New York Times still experimenting

With all the doom and gloom surrounding the future of the media industry, one has to wonder where The New York Times, the country's newspaper of record and a key online innovator, thinks it's going in the years ahead. Khoi Vinh, design director at and his boss, Tom Bodkin, a 27-year Times veteran, tried to answer these questions and more during what appeared to be a very interesting session at SXSW on Sunday, according SmartBrief on Social Media's publisher Merritt Colaizzi, who was at the session.
