Stanford University professor and columnist Bob Sutton has a new book on his recommended reading list: "I Hate People: Kick Loose from the Overbearing and Underhanded Jerks at Work and Get What You Want Out of Your Job" by Jonathan Littman and Marc Hershon. The book explores tricks for coping with a number of unhelpful office personalities, including "Stop Sign," "Flim-Flam," "Bulldozer" and "Smiley Face." Sutton says the book manages to be both funny and genuinely useful, a rare quality in business texts.
