Hotels around Washington state are making adjustments, from lowering menu prices to accommodating pets and last-minute reservations, in order to help boost business during a slow season. Travel-related spending in the state dropped slightly to $15.7 billion last year after years of growth, and the number of international travelers arriving at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport declined 13% through May, compared to the same period a year earlier.
