Patients with prehypertension who took an aspirin at bedtime experienced a reduction in their blood pressure, but patients taking an aspirin in the morning did not, Spanish researchers reported. Patients taking 100 mg of aspirin at bedtime saw their systolic blood pressure decrease by 6 mm Hg and diastolic blood pressure decrease by 3 mm Hg, the study showed.
