The Argentine government approved Apache's plan to sell natural gas at increased rates under the country's "gas plus" program, the company said. Apache will market 1.5 million cubic meters of natural gas from its properties in Neuquen and Rio Negro provinces at $5 per million British Thermal Units. The approval would allow "future gas exploration and development of unconventional reservoirs at competitive price," said Jon Graham, president of Apache Argentina.
