As one of the founding fathers of e-commerce, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos not only survived the dot-com crash, he and his company have thrived. Bezos has turned Amazon.com into the largest online retailer in the world while continuing his pursuit of innovation and taking risks, illustrated by the launch of the Kindle. Bezos also has a number of side projects in the works, including Blue Origin, a company that devises commercial spaceflight technology.
