Cladding work on the world's tallest skyscraper was completed this week in Dubai, when the last of more than 24,000 panels were applied, according to developer Emaar Properties. The developer hopes to complete the Burj Dubai tower, which will rise to more than 2,600 feet, by the end of this year. Cladding work was delayed in 2006 when a contractor went bankrupt.
