Two commercial real estate experts said REITs are coming out of 2009 in pretty good shape, but investors shouldn't look for a lot of dividend or earnings growth in 2010. But things are looking pretty good for REITs in 2011, when the economy's growth should flow through to their bottom lines. Alex Goldfarb, a REIT analyst for Sandler O'Neill, said looking past 2010, the argument for strong earnings growth from REITs "becomes more compelling."
