New appropriations by Congress this week allowed the Small Business Administration to offer enhanced loan guarantees through Feb. 28. SBA is raising guarantees to up to 90% on the 7(a) and 504 loan programs and waiving fees on most loans. New Jersey district counsel John Villios said the improved SBA lending terms resulted in larger lending volume the first time they were offered and he expects this extension to make a difference, too.
