High-school students in a three-year engineering program in a Georgia district are learning how to solve problems, work with a group and think creatively through their involvement in robotics competitions. The district adopted its pre-engineering curriculum to prepare high-school students for college or the workforce. Students are engaged and eager to work on robotics projects during and after school, said their teacher and club adviser. "The value of this to overall education is beyond measure," he said.
