A middle school in San Rafael, Calif, is using the nonprofit program Corstone to teach self-esteem and emotional resilience. "The notion behind it is crisis and challenges are inevitable in life, what really matters are your ability to deal with it, the choices that you make," the program's executive director said. The school is the first public school in California to implement a Corstone program, used in more than 50 countries.
