A United Nations event Monday brought together a diverse group, including actress Geena Davis, Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson and Mary P. Quinn, senior manager of the Avon Foundation for Women, to help kick off an effort to reinvigorate the push for UN Millennium Development Goals on gender equality. "Our goal must be clear. No tolerance of the use of rape as a weapon of war. No excuses for domestic violence. No looking the other way when it comes to sex trafficking, so-called 'honor killings' or female genital mutilation," UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon told the gathering.
