Health officials in New Jersey have warned about the risks of black-market plastic surgery after several women were hospitalized for complications following unlicensed buttocks enlargements. Doctors say the six Essex County women were treated after being injected with bathtub caulk, a form of nonmedical silicone. Plastic surgeon Gregory Borah said the incident emphasizes the importance of finding a credentialed provider for such procedures.
