When creating a cloud or a virtualized-computing system, don't lose sight of how the shift will affect users, be wary of skimping on your servers and watch out for problems with your legacy software, Kevin Fogarty writes. "When companies go to cloud computing, they really have to do it with high-end capabilities -- high availability, fault tolerance and plan for flexible SaaS," IDC analyst Ian Song says.
