AT&T will bring its U-verse suite of IP-based TV, Internet and voice services to Chattanooga, Tenn., this summer, Chairman and CEO Randall Stephenson told attendees at the company's annual meeting Friday.
"I had dinner with your mayor, and because of his commitment to open markets and competition, Chattanooga looks like an attractive place to invest capital," Stephenson said. AT&T will compete against Comcast and a fiber-based service from the local Electric Power Board.
