Social-gaming company Zynga has called off its plans to abandon Facebook and agreed to a five-year deal to continue producing and maintaining games for the site. Zynga has agreed to expand its use of Facebook Credits for online purchases, but appears to have persuaded Facebook to offset at least some of its 30% commission on Credits purchases, perhaps by offering Zynga more favorable terms for on-site advertising, Leena Rao writes.
