Facebook soon will offer simplified tools for users to control their privacy and to opt out of third-party offers, writes Mark Zuckerberg, the social network's founder and chief executive. Zuckerberg also outlined Facebook's five principles for user privacy, including: Users maintain "control" over the sharing of information; personal data is not disseminated to other users or companies without user say-so; and personal data will not be sold.
