Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, wants President Barack Obama to exert more pressure on Congress to reinstate the biodiesel tax credit, a move that would put 23,000 workers back to work. Grassley said it was ironic that Obama failed to call for an extension of the tax credit when he promoted renewable fuels last week in Iowa, where he came within a few miles of biodiesel plants that have been offline since the tax credit expired at the end of 2009.
