Ohio's tallest bridge, a double steel deck-truss structure, is to be dismantled and replaced by an $88 million concrete box-girder bridge. Officials say the Jeremiah Morrow Bridge, on Interstate 71 east of Lebanon, has the same design as the Minnesota bridge that collapsed in 2007, and that the replacement will be safer and easier on the eyes, according to an executive with HNTB Corp., which designed the new bridge.
