Retirement planning can be tougher for women, who typically live longer and have fewer assets than men, writes Reshma Kapadia. More than 70% of female investors said they were unsatisfied with the service they received from the financial-services industry, according to a recent Boston Consulting Group survey. Analysts recommend advisers help women by customizing a plan separate from their spouse's and discuss annuities and long-term-care insurance with them.
