Android's share of mobile Internet traffic increased 2 percentage points last month -- that's an 18.6% gain for 2010 -- to reach 25% of the market, according to a Quantcast report that said the Google-developed software stole share from other operating systems. A separate report, from mobile-research firm NetMarketShare, noted that the number of people using Apple's iOS operating system to access the Internet outnumbered those using Linux-based software -- the first time that has happened.
