A PricewaterhouseCoopers survey of 2,000 consumers showed that 40% said they would be willing to buy a remote monitoring device, but roughly two-thirds of those would make the purchase only if the price was less than $50. PwC also surveyed 1,000 doctors and found that 57% would like to use such technologies to track the condition of their patients outside the hospital.
