USA shows "Burn Notice" and "Royal Pains" helped the channel secure the No. 1 viewership position in the third quarter among ad-supported cable networks, according to Nielsen ratings. For the period June 28 to Sept. 27, the NBC Universal-owned network averaged 3.26 million viewers in prime time, including 1.25 million in the 18-to-49 demographic and 1.37 million in the 25-to-54 group.
