Apple has surpassed 300,000 downloadable applications in its iTunes App Store, according to Mobclix, an analytics firm. Also, Apple has plans to insert in-stream ads to videos on the iPhone and iPad, according to an Internet report, a move that could encourage more content providers to let their videos access iOS devices.
