The New York governor's race was supposed to be dull, but the freewheeling style of outsider candidate and Republican nominee Carl Paladino has made the race a lot more colorful. Paladino has already spread rumors about the personal life of his Democratic rival Andrew Cuomo, accused Albany politicians of being criminals and threatened to "take out" a reporter. However, a majority of New Yorkers say he's a "loose cannon," and he trails in the polls by double digits.
