There's a growing movement of older Americans hoping to age in place, and it's a major opportunity for the remodeling industry, says aging-in-place consultant Louis Tenenbaum in a video interview. In the interview, Tenenbaum expands on his recent report published by MetLife that underlines the challenges and costs facing Americans trying to age in place. The issue lies in being able to sell remodeling as a positive step forward rather than the act of acquiescing one's impending infirmity, Tenenbaum says.
