The city of Zephyrhills, Fla., has started work on an $80,000 project that will add cabbage palms, crepe myrtles, oaks and bald cypress trees to the area's Gall Boulevard. The initiative was funded by the Florida Department of Transportation and is aimed at motivating owners of buildings near the area's main commercial corridor to develop their properties, according to Community Development Director Todd Vande Berg.
