The Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust has awarded a three-year grant worth $15 million to the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla, Calif., and Columbia University Medical Center in New York, for the establishment of a bank for induced pluripotent stem cells.
