Video technologies that enable business users to collaborate remotely are one of the "top trends in telecom" and will continue to see robust market penetration, according to an Infonetics analyst. Infonetics predicts that by 2015, companies will spend $5 billion on videoconferencing solutions, more than double the $2.2 billion spent last year. The growth will be driven largely by demand for immersive telepresence solutions, which give users the feeling they are present at a remote location.
