The U.S. can play a leadership role in fighting climate change by pouring resources into clean-energy technology such as wind, nuclear and natural gas, President Barack Obama said during an Earth Day speech on Friday. "When we reduce environmental hazards, especially in our most overburdened and polluted cities and neighborhoods, we prioritize the health of our families, and move towards building the clean-energy economy of the 21st century," Obama said.
