The annual Morgan County Fire School on Sunday trained 150 fire volunteers from 24 fire departments on battling rural and structure fires, using compressed air and firefighting foam, rescuing farm machinery accident victims, rescuing crash victims from smashed vehicles with hydraulic rescue tools and handling propane gas emergencies. "There are always new techniques coming along, and we try to stay up with all of the new information," said Morgan County Firefighters Association President Maurice Hammond.
