Data on 84,493 women ages 50 to 79 participating in a study show that those who ate at least five servings of baked or broiled fish weekly were 30% less likely to suffer heart failure than those who ate less than one monthly serving. The study in the journal Circulation: Heart Failure also linked even one weekly serving of fried fish to a 48% increased risk of heart failure.
