The French Laundry's garden has grown since the California eatery brought Tucker Taylor in to design the plot, which grows produce for the restaurant year-round and provides an educational patch for chefs and the community. Among Tucker's tips: Make the community part of the project, use gardens to educate guests about where their food comes from, and involve chefs and other staff members in the food-growing experience.
